I'm Jitendra Kasaudhan - Senior Data/AI Engineer based in Munich, Germany, Founder @ The Deepfake Finance.
Over the past 10 years I've worked across software engineering, machine learning, and data engineering at companies like Myra Security GmbH, Wellster Healthtech GmbH, CHECK24 GmbH, and Talentese GmbH ( where I also served as CTO). I did my Master's in Informatics at the Technical University of Munich, Germany (one of the world's top 50 universities), with a focus on software engineering, machine learning, computer vision, and image manipulation. Before that, a 4-year Computer Science degree from Nepal.
So when I say I understand how deepfakes are built, I mean it technically, not just conceptually.
But the reason I started this newsletter isn't academic. It started with a fraud phone call.
A few years ago, someone close to me received a phone call from someone claiming to be from a German government authority. They said there was a problem with the victim's visa. The call lasted over an hour - patient, threatening, and methodically designed to create panic. By the end of it, the victim was convinced they needed to pay immediately to avoid serious legal consequences. The fraudster walked away with money paid in Google Play gift cards.
It worked. By the time anyone understood what had happened, the damage was done. I couldn't prevent it but that stayed with me.
I started going deeper. I wanted to understand exactly how these tools worked, how fraud operations used them, and what, if anything, actually stopped them. The more I learned, the more I realized how exposed most small and mid-sized businesses were. Not because they weren't careful. Because they didn't have the right information.
So I built The Deepfake Finance to get that information.
Every week I write a free briefing you can read in under 10 minutes. It covers how deepfakes are actually built, real fraud cases (documented, not hypothetical), honest reviews of detection tools, and prevention steps that work for businesses that aren't Fortune 500 companies.
I believe deepfakes don't just steal money. They attack TRUST: the thing every business relationship, every wire transfer approval, every video call is built on. And right now, most businesses don't know what they're up against.
That's what I'm here to change.
